Does cork flooring act as a sound barrier? - walking in cork
I am interested in the installation of cork flooring. I've heard that acts as a noise barrier. I have a new house, the bedroom above the kitchen and the constructive spirit does not insulate between plants. No matter how slowly or a person walking on the hard floor, I wake up b / c of the noise, but also b / c of the vibration.
The cork reduces vibration and noise?

Yes, but the problem is that damage quickly, so apply where to Cork, then put something better in the beginning.
Cork acts as a solid barrier, but often have a re-application requires a sealer. Do you think that you can install something on the floor, you now have to ask, and then the laminate or hardwood, or any other type of ground on this forum. Specifically designed to block sound and actually works.
